On the Steelers, there will be Texas-natives Jonathon Scott (Dallas), Emmanuel Sanders (Belville), and former Dallas Cowboy Flozell “The Hotel” Adams. On the Packers, look out for Donald Driver (Houston) and Marshall Newhouse (Dallas). Extra congratulations to Sanders & Newhouse for appearing in this year’s big game during their inaugural, rookie season.
Super Bowl XLV, being played Sunday, February 6th, will be between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. This will be the eighth appearance in the Super Bowl for the Steelers (who hold the record with 6 Super Bowl wins) and the fifth for the Packers (who hold the record with 12 overall NFL titles, including 3 Super Bowl wins and 9 league titles prior to the Super Bowl-era). When it lands at Arlington’s Cowboys Stadium, it will mark the first Super Bowl in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It will mark a first for a handful of promising young athletes, as well.
